Snowden: Hero or Criminal?
In June 2013 Edward Snowden exposed the mass surveillance being carried out by the US's NSA not only on it's own citizens but also on nearly everyone else around the world. So is he a hero or a criminal? So why is he being wanted by the Obama administration for criminal prosecution. Ron Paul has called Snowden a hero. It appears that Snowden is also a fan of Ron Paul, having donated $500 to a Ron Paul campaign in the past.
The Bible says "the powers that be are ordained of God." Romans 13:1. "Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people," the Bible says in Exodus 22:28. We're supposed to have freedom of speech according to our Constitution's Bill of Rights. Snowden got in trouble for telling the truth, costing himself a high paying job, while many of our politicians routinely lie and get away with it. I think that we should contact our Congressmen and demand that Snowden be given amnesty and allowed back into the United States, even getting his old job back.
